The Seven Feathers Big Game Room featured the 10th annual Head & Horns Competition, the new Greatest Elk of the Oregon Record Book, the All-Time Record Book Bulls, and Black Gold’s 2014 Tour of Northwest Big Game Display. Show patrons saw the ODF&W’s 50' fish tank filled with native salmon, steelhead, trout and sturgeon. For fly-fishers, there was a 180'-long casting pool. Pepsi’s Live Trout Pond, archery range and shooting gallery captured the attention of all kids and those young at heart!

THANK YOU FOR A FANTASTIC 2014!
ALL THREE SHOWS WERE THE BEST EVER!

Visitors to the 2014 Outdoors and Recreation Shows in Southern Oregon were able to envision adventures at new heights. They’ll were enthralled and thrilled by the Condor Encounter, a live bird show that featured the largest flying land birds in the western hemisphere.

And for visitors who wanted to fly like a bird, they hooked into a super ZipLine for a fast flight.

Back down on the ground, Howe & Howe Technologies, of Discovery Channel fame, wowed spectators with their incredible all-terrain vehicles for extreme outdoor adventures, public safety, military use and accessibility for the handicapped.

These are just a few of the highlights that were featured at this year’s shows: KEZI TV 9 Eugene Boat & Sportsmen’s Show  at the Lane County Events Center in Eugene, SELCO Sportsmen’s & Outdoor Recreation Show at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Roseburg and the Newswatch 12 Sportsmen’s & Outdoor Recreation Show at the Jackson County Expo in Medford.

“We try to offer something for everyone,” said Joe Pate, president of ExpoSure, the producer of the Shows. “The great response to these shows is truly a reflection of the outdoor interests of the market. We try to bring the commonplace along with the unusual. This formula has worked very well over the past several years, and we are always trying to keep it a fresh, affordable and fun experience.”

Headlining the lineup of expert speakers in the Sportsmen’s Theater were hunting and fishing guide Jody Smith of Elkton and Glenn Hall, host of Hawg Quest, an Outdoors Channel television fishing show.

Both the novice and experienced outdoors person found something of interest at the shows, whether through these featured guests or the many other unique exhibits, attractions, speakers and demonstrations.

ExpoSure sponsored a bass team in the inaugural River City BassMasters/Hamlin Marina Bass Tournament held on Saturday, July 21, 2012.
