TEAM EXPOSURE WINS

2014 SAF MAINE HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP

Brewer Lake in Orrington was the site of the 2014 SAF Maine State High School Bass Fishing Championship on Saturday, July 19, 2014. The fishing duo of Hunter Pate and Jacob Gauvin captured the title with a weigh-in of 10.8 pounds. This win qualifies them for the conference championship level.

Both young men have been fishing competitively for the past four years with adults in the Bangor Bass Club and the Outcast Bass Club.

The state championship is a two-person team event for students in grades 9-12. The Student Angler Federation (SAF) is part of the Bass Federation (TBF) and is in partnership with the Fishing League Worldwide (FLW).

TEAM EXPOSURE WINS  USA BASSIN' TOURNEY

Team ExpoSure recorded it’s first win the USA Bassin’ competition held on Silver Lake in Bucksport, Maine on Sunday, August 11, 2013. The team of Hunter Pate and Jake Gauvin took first place in a field of 15 boats. Jake won the Lunker Prize with a 5.87 pound largemouth bass.  Hunter rounded out the 5-limit catch with 4 good-sized bass.


The dynamic duo also placed fourth in the first annual Orrington Old Home Week Bass Tournament on Brewer Lake on July 13, 2013.


Team ExpoSure placed second in the 2103 River City BassMasters/Hamlin Marina Bass Tournament held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 on the Penobscot River. Jake Gauvin took home the Lunker Prize! Hunter was a junior at John Bapst Memorial High School and Jacob was a sophomore at Bucksport High School.

TEAM EXPOSURE WINS THEIR FIRST TOURNAMENT

ExpoSure sponsored it’s first bass team in the inaugural River City BassMasters/Hamlin Marina Bass Tournament held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 on the beautiful Penobscot River in central Maine. This was also the first fishing tournament for the fishermen: Hunter Pate, son of Joe Pate, boat captain Paul Gauvin and his son Jacob Gauvin.


After seven hours of fantastic fishing and hauling in over 50 fish, Team ExpoSure brought their top five beautiful bass to the weigh-in.... and they won!


Team ExpoSure not only captured the first place cash prize, but Hunter Pate also had the biggest fish of the day and won a lifetime Maine fishing license!

TEAM EXPOSURE WINS 2015 SAF MAINE HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP

Silver Lake in Bucksport, Maine was the site of the 2015 SAF Maine State High School Bass Fishing Championship on Saturday, May 9, 2015. The bass fishing team of Hunter Pate and Jacob Gauvin successfully defended their 2014 title with a weigh-in of 12.27 pounds. Gauvin also caught the biggest fish of the day, a 4.14 lb. smallmouth.


The team represented Maine in the 2015 Conference Championship on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire. They competed with the top high school bass fishermen from CT, DE, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, ON, PA, RI, VT and VA. 

No matter the season,
